Angela De Roberts, Beverly Jean Parris and Steph Valencia met at the Queens Botanical Garden's Master Composter course. They decided to join forces and focus on a particular plot of land located on the other extremity of Queens...Ozone Park. This plot located on Pitkin Ave / and 87 St. happened to be a plot Angela De Roberts had her eye on. This plot happened to be one that Steph Valencia knew very well because she lived a block away and gazed at it everyday on her daily commute. We decided to take it as a sign; synchronicity was in action.
